Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Carpentieri graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland/Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1985. He received his Prosthodontic Specialty Certificate from Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in 1997. Subsequently, he completed a four year Fellowship in the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry.

In my intense desire to continue to move the Westchester Restorative Dentistry and Implantology Group forward,  I needed to find additional clinicians that represent the “best of the best” in terms of education, training, clinical expertise, and experience. In addition to these attributes, it was also important to find exceptionally “good” people.

With that said, I am extremely proud and excited to introduce two additional dentists to our practice, both of which have earned their Specialty Certificates in Prosthodontics. Both Dr. Amy Ludwig and Dr. Libel Eduardo are extremely bright and talented, empathetic, and absolutely passionate about dentistry and the care that they are capable of providing. In addition, it is interesting to note that both doctors have long and impressive family histories in the field of dentistry. More specifically, I wanted to offer additional information about each doctor in their own words.

Dr. Ludwig grew up in Bethlehem, PA where her father and grandfather had their dental practice and became interested in pursuing dentistry. Dr. Ludwig attended college and dental school at the University of Pennsylvania, completing her DMD degree in 1983.  Dr. Ludwig completed a general practice residency at Muhlenberg Medical Center in 1984 in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. Dr Ludwig completed her Prosthodontic Speciality training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in 1997 where she trained with Dr. Carpentieri.

Dr. Eduardo brings her dedication and commitment to excellence in dentistry to every patient. Growing up assisting her parents in their dental office and dental laboratory since early in life, provided her a great opportunity to start developing a keen eye to correctly diagnose and treat her patient’s dental needs comprehensively.
